Easy to use and navigate, helpful setup instructions for the hardware. We’d be lost without it

The app really does give us peace of mind. I’ve had a few issues with the camera not reading my babies sleep exactly correct and it was all for one reason or another/ none at all. Most importantly though when I use the breathe band, it always works and I wish I didn’t wait til my baby was rolling over. I wish I got it sooner.

I’ve tried a few different “smart” baby monitors and this one just works. Miku, Owlet, and CuboAi didn’t work as well. The only issue is finding the breathing swaddle for our newborn, but they have other options for when your baby gets older. Most of the other ones kept losing camera visibility for viewing. I know it’s not Wi-Fi. I’m in IT, been doing that for 25 years from desktop support up to supporting servers and networks for multi-billion dollar orgs. So I’m grateful that Nanit worked out of the box.
  • Ridiculous Push to Pay for Subscription

The app has all kinds of features that you can only access if you pay for a subscription. I’m extremely disappointed by the lack of “free” features considering I already paid a premium for the nanit monitor. I would not recommend this app or monitor unless you want to sign up for annual fees on top of paying for an overpriced baby monitor.

Only reason I’m not giving it a 5/5 start is that it disconnects from the WiFi here and there. Unsure if that’s an us or a them thing.
