  • Connecting to Apple AirPlay cable

    I updated my Apple software on my phone this morning. I don’t have internet at my home. I solely rely on my unlimited data. I had been connecting my phone to an Apple airplay cable that’s connected to my tv with a HDMI cable. It isn’t working now. I updated the YouTube tv app and it still wont play when connected to the airplay cable. Will play on my phone just fine when not connected to the airplay cable.

  • Ads for Recorded Shows

    Started seeing forced ads that cannot be skipped for shows I’ve recorded for years. Might as well start looking at Hulu or go back to Direct TV where you skip and stop wherever you want without being forced to watch ads for as much as this costs now.

    I have cancel my subscription but still being charge. It seems impossible to a hold of customer service to correct this error. I have been charge for 8 months of service without any access. Be careful with this app you’ll being paying for it without even having access to it.

  • Lack of video quality

    Some channels are in 1080p60 and all sports are in 720p while foreign sport channels are in 4k. Not worth the money spent

    Don’t bother. Bad app. The app constantly freezes on my iPhone. This is unacceptable! I’m a new, disappointed subscriber. I’ve deleted and reinstalled it 5x. Cancelling it after two months. 😖

  • Surprisingly limited

    App works fine if you want to watch one episode of a show in one sitting. But if you enjoy watching a full season of a show it bizarrely will not keep track of what episodes you have already watched, and if you stop an episode halfway through and come back it will not remember where you left off. Seems like basic streaming functions to me… Also, it’s weirdly inconsistent from channel to channel. Football looks great, but anything on FX looks horrible. Like almost unwatchable how pixelated it is. Feels weird for a company as big as YouTube to make such simple mistakes but I don’t know…

    I don’t understand why this app doesn’t work on my iPhone but is near flawless on my iPad. Very frustrating when I’m on the go and can’t watch anything from my phone.
