So I don’t have a natural green thumb so I’ve been through my fair share of plant apps. All the plant apps I’ve tried I would follow instructions of how to care for the plant I needed and my babies would always die. This app is the first app that saved my plants:) my plumeria tree was down to 3 leaves literally, I snapped a picture and I didn’t have it in a spot big enough to expand and I wasn’t giving it enough sunlight . I’ve also learned so much about random plants I see when I’m walking around . I just snap a pic and learn everything I need to know I love it . This app won’t disappoint!

PlantSnap is a great tool for both seasoned gardeners and casual nature lovers. Its ability to quickly identify plants from a photo is truly impressive. While it may not be a complete botanical reference, it's a valuable resource for exploring the natural world around you. Also, As a notorious Fern Felon turned Blossom Benefactor, I can't believe I'm writing this, but this app has transformed my botanical bloodbath into a garden of Eden! Once infamous for turning lush green cycad dreams into dried-up nightmares, I've finally found my green thumb thanks to this incredibly easy-to-use plant care and identification app. From the get-go, the app holds your hand (gently, like you should hold a delicate orchid) and guides you through the world of plant care. No more guessing whether your ficus is frowning or if your peace lily is pouting. The app's plant identification feature is like having a horticultural detective in your pocket, solving plant mysteries faster than I used to wilt a succulent! The real magic, though, is in the care instructions. Detailed, yet simple enough for even the most notorious plant neglecter (yours truly) to follow, it's like having a patient plant nanny coaching you step-by-step. Watering schedules, sunlight needs, and even tips on how to talk to your plants (yes, apparently they like it) are all laid out with the precision of a seasoned gardener. I've gone from a serial killer of succulents to a magnolia mommy, nurturing a verdant oasis right in my living room. So, if you've ever been a perpetrator of planticide, do yourself a favor and download this app. You might just become the green-thumbed guardian you never knew you could be.

I really like the app. I love that I am able to post pictures of plants and there’s an entire social media aspect to it. I can post pictures, like them, comment on them and add people as friends. I can take a picture of a plant, and it tells me more info on the plant and how to care for it. It’s pretty cool. I wish the app would allow me to scan more than 5 plans per day but I get it with the free version. I also which there were a dark mode feature. But great app overall.
