Playset is an intuitive drum and synth sequencer, designed for instant fun and live music. Start with the drums. Add a sneaky bass line, dress it with a fat lead and you've got your song. Adjust the mix, light on the FXs, add a few patterns to the timeline and your song is a hit! Want to connect? Playset supports MIDI, Audiobus, Ableton Link, and is also available as an Audio Unit plug-in. Finally, once your song is done, you can export it in order to share it with the world.     The AU's UI should be larger; the buttons are far too small even on a 10.5 inch iPad. Timeline Mode should not be switched off when selecting another pattern to edit; that way, multi bar patterns can play while being edited. And this may be fixed in the next update, but the AUv3 is incapable of MIDI out. It's so close to being something I would use every time I'm making music, so I hope Fingerlab will make these improvements. I love being able to select a note with the keyboard and then place it in the grid, while editing drums.

    Just tried it and love it! Hope you make a 32 track version with eq per track, with built in sampler, etc. Being AUv3 makes all the difference.

  • Fun auv3 sketch pad

    I’ve been having fun so far with the app. A few suggestions 1. I could not submit a help desk ticket to you the email link I found on your page did not work 2. Can you increase the window size for auv3 mode, on iPad Pro 2018 when in AUM I’m unable to get it to stretch full screen. 3. Request if you can take advantage of the new auv3 multi output that just came out and if you can add user samples if possible- would make some great additional selling points. Overall fun and interesting results are to be had so far thanks 😊

    ...Whatever that means, um, basically this app is extremely awesome and beautiful. I would love to be able to export, maybe more instrument slots, and instruments. But it's already really cool so that would just make it off the charts. I also see that an update is coming soon which I'm pumped for, let's see!!! Thanks FINGERLAB. Shout out to the UI Designers. And on second thought, this app makes me feel like I'm on a Weyland-Yutani ship making beats with Ripley. This app is going to add that extra umph to my creative teams lives. We love new toys\tools.
