So I took the EMT national test on the 24th. I will say that if you are studying for your EMT-B then definitely do the mock exams that pocket prep has because it felt very similar to the test. Also the questions here gave me best questions then platinum testing

This is probably my first time ever writing a review for an app, but this genuinely prepared me so well for the nremt and im certain i passed! It does an amazing job at having you understand how to break down the questions and even has some questions i saw on the test! Could not stress enough how much i recommend this to anyone studying.

I had attempted to take the NREMT test here in California 3 times and couldn’t pass. I went through all the content in this app and I was able to pass first try. If you want to pass this test I highly recommend the payed version of this app. The free version does not have all the great features you would need in order to pass, it’s possible of course but you are better off paying for that guaranteed pass. I would suggest taking all three mock exams and going through all 1000 questions in the “ build your own quiz section” it’s definitely a lot of studying but it’s worth it considering you will most likely pass first try. This app also tells you WHY your questions is right and wrong and explains it WITH the page numbers where you could find it in the book , this is a very excellent feature. The ONLY gripe I have with this app is they separate the mock exam questions from the rest of the questions in the app, so when you want to study just the ones you got wrong on the mock exam they won’t let you do a review set of just those by it self. It would be really nice if they implemented that feature. Overall the app is excellent you really are guaranteed a pass with this app BUT you NEED to go through ALL the content to pass of course. Overall great app would 100% recommend.

Great questions that prepared me for the national registry exam. The questions are very similar in style to what’s on the test and it will definitely get you ready!

Pocket prep is the best app to use to matter what level you are studying for. It breaks it all down so it is easy to understand and remember. 10/10 recommend
  • It’s alright Info outdated

The app is cool and most of the information is pretty spot on, but for the amount you are paying it doesn’t justify that they use the 12th edition emergency care book. I’m currently enrolled in the emt course and we are using the 14th edition and if weren’t for the comparison of the two I would have been ignorant to the new protocols and certain techniques that are no longer practiced. So do with this as you may, but this app should not be your only primary source for studying for the nremt simply because the info is outdated and could potentially lead to you killing a patient simply for the lack of information.

I just took and passed my NREMT-P on the first attempt. This app has not only prepared me for the new style of test but also mentally eased my mind on the scenario based questions. This test wasn’t EXACTLY the same but was VERY close in dynamic of questioning. I was not unfamiliar sitting in peasonvue for my test.
