I have taken 3 photos of my plant. Each time I have moved it’s location. I have gotten a different plant species each time. I will not purchase this app again.

This app has started charging for features that were free. I hadn’t updated it in a while, did so, and now I can’t diagnose a plant without subscribing. I’m not writing this because I want it changed, just letting people planning to redownload pr update that it has become rather infinitely less useful. It should also be noted that that feature was often incorrect anyway, so it is probably not worth paying for unless you have some idea of what might be wrong to start with. Beat of luck to new users and new plant owners. I hope it works well enough to help those who were only using the watering reminders.

Thank you for responding to my inquiry re how to turn frequency reminders re watering and fertilizing schedules. Your instructions were easy to follow, and immediately corrected the problem. One more recommendation that I have is possibly alphabetizing the list of my plants/trees to make it easier to find them on the app. I am finding that I may have mistakenly added the same plant twice or three times, but at different times, which makes it repetitious and confusing. However, if they were listed alphabetically automatically, I could easily see if I’ve already added that particular one . Thank you for developing such an awesome and amazing plant identification and how to care for app! It’s evident that a lot of research and hard work went into its development. I look forward to many more years of having you as a “Parent, a Partner, and a Teacher. Thank you! hug plant ☺️🪴😊

I’m an avid gardener and have never depended on plant apps bc they are so inaccurate. I was so happy when someone told me about this one. Plant Parent is extremely accurate, and it’s FREE. Thank you for keeping so many features on the app at no cost‼️

I’m barely 10 minutes on the app and I already love it. It’s giving me so many tips on how to take better care of my plants. I thought my plants were dying because I didn’t know how to take care of it and turns out Im not watering it enough and the app was able to detect it through a picture of my plants.

Not happy at all. The only thing you do is tell me when to water the fire lily. Meanwhile my aloe plant is dying.
  • Strange information

Each time I do the diagnosis thing, it tells me something very unspecific, than it completely changes what it said when I x out of it. For example, it told me that my plant wasn’t getting watered properly and needed a bigger pot. When I xed out it it said that it was infested by scale bugs, which is completely different. And I know they did that because they used the exact same photo I took for the different diagnosis. And sometimes it identifies my plant wrong. I put a brush cherry bonsai tree as the photo and it thought it was a jade bonsai tree. I also took a photo of my uncle and they thought he was a tree. It never seems to have what I am looking for when I am searching through the my plant area. It’s missing a lot of information that we need. It doesn’t show us very good photos of the types of plants. It also doesn’t tell us what type of soil it needs, the direction the window we put near should be facing, and the specific type of plant. It just gives something to click on if we want to see other versions of that plant. But the app is organized, and I like the schedule. I like the find plant thing and the find your perfect plant things are good. Otherwise the app is helpful and most things are accurate.
