Game is definitely not as advertised as in adds. Another pay to play game. Not worth the grind.

The ads that pop up on YouTube are trash. The red gooner gang coming to edge me? My 11 year old hears this. Do better. Some beta femboy whining about the rizzler. What a joke

It’s a fun game but you can only get so far until you have to start dropping cash on it. And it’s not just once, you constantly need to spend actual money in order to progress in this game.
  • Ads are fake and this game rips off another!!

The popular PC game thronefall has been blatantly ripped off by all of the ads by kingshot. Pls don’t support these kind of games.

After playing Kingshot for a month, I’ve got a solid feel for the game—and honestly, it hurts to write this review. Why? Because the game has some truly great systems. But the overall point? Completely shattered unless you’ve got deep pockets and aren’t sweating today’s inflation like the rest of us mortals. Let’s start with the good: Graphics: 10/10. It’s clean, vibrant, and charming. Not realistic, but that’s part of its magic. The style makes it easy to chill and unwind—unless you’re being raided into oblivion, of course. Music: 3/10. Not terrible, but not memorable either. After a week, I muted it and never looked back. Gameplay Systems: 10/10. I love how combat works, the clean interface, and especially the alliance system (a.k.a. guilds). There’s a lot to dive into, and the mechanics are genuinely engaging. You’ll have plenty to tinker with… before you realize money is the ultimate cheat code. And now, the main event: PvP and game progression. I wanted to give this part a 10. I really did. The game is fun—when you’re not being treated like a walking loot piñata. But once you start climbing the ranks, the mask comes off. The truth? If you don’t pay, you’re basically cannon fodder in a kingdom run by gold card warriors. Level 30 is the max for your garrison. I’ve played mostly for free—with a small $5 pack just to unlock a second build slot (because you start with ONE… yes, ONE MAX TWO). Time management becomes a hellish fever dream. You get 5 deployment slots, but you only start with one. The rest? Locked behind VIP levels and paywalls so tall, even Jack’s beanstalk would give up. And speaking of VIP… imagine a magical shop where you can pay for everything from faster upgrades to auto-beast hunting. That’s right. If you’re online, the game will literally send out your troops to farm for you. Passive income, baby—if your wallet can keep up. But wait, there’s more! Enter: the Mega Guilds. The royal bullies of Kingshot. They offer you two choices: bend the knee or be farmed for parts. On my server, the top 10 guilds have an unspoken truce—no attacking each other. Their targets? Everyone else. Especially us poor souls who dared to try free-to-play. It’s like watching the Avengers unite—except you’re not one of them, you’re the building they’re about to obliterate. And just when you think it can’t get worse, here comes the Garrison Teleport—a lovely item that lets a high-level player teleport right next to you, wipe your base off the map, loot everything, and vanish like Batman with a platinum credit card. Unlimited uses, no cooldowns. Just pure chaos on demand. Oh, and the Kill Event—or as I like to call it, “Free-to-play Genocide Weekend.” It’s a two-day event where you earn points for obliterating enemy troops. Translation: the whales come out to feast, and everyone else gets trampled in the blood-soaked sandbox of capitalism. Hooray! Bottom line? Kingshot is a great game locked behind a terrible monetization model. It’s fun, looks good, and has solid mechanics—but if you’re not planning to invest money regularly or join a top guild, your progress will hit a brick wall. One reinforced by Visa, Mastercard, and several whales named Jeff. Would I recommend it? Only if you’re rich… or masochistic.

Not at all like advertised. Odd in-game premise too. Not intuitive. Very difficult to follow. Weird world-building that make little sense with too many variables to build anything. Definitely not enjoyable.
