Honestly the only problems I have are that the screen isn’t filled in and there’s black on the sides and for some reason I can’t mute the game but other than that nothing else is wrong with the game I totally recommend getting it

I’ve got to admit using your finger to bat/pitch is tricky but add to the challenge! I’ve had 0 issues playing and the nostalgic feeling is incredible, 5/5 can’t wait for the best Backyard game to come out!! EDIT: Game does Crash sometimes, can be very frustrating says “Scumerror” and you lose all your progress.

This game is very good, updates to hitting and fielding since release have greatly improved the game. If you would add a season or career mode that lets us run multiple seasons continuously while keeping stats I would give 5 stars
  • Love the Nostalgia but frequent crashes

It’s awesome to have this game available on iPhone and iPad but there are a few things that frustrate me. I primarily play on my iPad. I have only finished a couple of games because the app will close before I can finish. Sometimes it happens in the 2nd inning, sometimes in the 6th, sometimes in the 9th. Nothing more frustrating when you get to the end of a game and it crashes! On the iPhone, I don’t understand why this game can’t be full screen. It’s small as it is, so to cut off the sides of the screen makes it not as enjoyable.
  • Thank you…but we want more

Incredible nostalgia. Wish we it was the version with Ken Griffey mark mcguire and all the legends. Especially when you play at different fields in tournament play. Excited for the inevitable future release

  • Did Jason Kelce Make The App?

Its bonkers how unplayable this app is. The fielders cant even make a single play on defense, maybe they wanted to bring the immersion of feeling like you’re back in 1997 playing a broken game. You’d think theyd test and fix the glaring issues BEFORE launch.
  • Nostalgia✨

This is my all time favorite computer game as a kid..I’ve played a lot of different PC games too..Oregon trail (eh) Myst, monster truck racing, doom, who wants to be a millionaire, I even played those games from General Mills when they gave them out with their cereal, they were the best honestly. One of the best parts of my material childhood. This is just like the pc game. Takes a while to get used to the new placements to swing and throw, use the controls, it’s all touch and finger timing but it’s still a classic. Well worth the $5. I hope they launch all the other games too! The one with the MLB stars too would be awesome as well, please make it happen 🙏🤟😁

The sound is brutal when you can’t adjust the frequent player callouts. Please let me just mute players and hear the swing/pitches
