  • Great Calendar App

I really like using the calendar app, but I have an issue with the month and week views on mobile devices. The events are poorly displayed, making them hard to see and practically useless. I hope they can improve the visibility so I can clearly see all my events in the week and month view. Additionally, the watch app is very limited. Would love to have the option to edit events and have more options when creating a calendar event.
  • A great calendar but misses on reminders

I have been using fantastical for years and find it much easier to use than my Apple calendar. The layout and design is thoughtful and accessible. My only gripe is that it’s reminder function, like apples, is not effective. I don’t get notified consistently before meetings. Maybe that’s an apple problem but as a result I have to use an app called DUE for that purpose. The DUE app is awesome for reminders as they really ring you when due but allow you to reschedule the notice with ease. DUE is far more effective and powerful as a to do or reminder than anything else I’ve tried.

Been using calender for years on iPhone. Always a huge fan but suddenly all events, appointments manually added disappeared. I've tried every suggestion ( app, google, Reddit) with no success and there is no real support except email.

All of a sudden I can’t edit events in my calendar. What is going on?
  • Still like the app

I was an Fantastic 2 user that did not upgrade to 3. It is still my favorite app. Unlike others I have had no major problems with it asking me to upgrade. I still have not figured out what the difference between 2 and 3 as there was never a free trial for the advanced features. I originally choose this program over another at the time I purchased it as it had no subscription. If I knew that they where going to change I would have gotten the other as they offered me a lifetime subscription.
  • Pretty but doesn’t work

I would really LOVE this app to work. It looks how I want my calendar to look and easily combines multiple platforms. BUT. Every 1 in 10 times I add an event, it wipes out my calendar. The dates are regularly bugged out and off by 1 day. I hate that there the default event is all day — it ALWAYS costs me clicks to fix. The NLP-generate events is almost always miscaptures location and I hate that there’s no way to turn this off. Incredibly buggy app for how long it’s been on the App Store.

You have a really nice calendar but is there anyway to change the icon. It looks like a puzzle. I would really like the icon to include the days date.
  • Slowly losing status

I used to love this app. The Day Ticker, Calendar, and Day views are still terrific, and I like that you can see tasks (Reminders), but the Week, Month, Quarter, and Year views are horribly flawed and basically useless. Another thing I don’t like is their natural language support. This is a nice time-saving feature when if works, but it often doesn't work the way you want, and you can’t shut it off. I'd gladly raise my rating to five stars if the views were redesigned to be more useful and if they allowed you to toggle the natural language feature on and off. It’s time to make this the best Calendar app again, not just another calendar app, which continues to lose ground to others, including the native calendar. And it would be nice if they listened to their users for a change, especially as a subscription-based offering.
  • Good stuff, recommended.
