DM10 - The Drum & Synth Machine is the sequel of our famous app « DM1 - The Drum Machine », winner of the Apple Design Award in 2012. Built with a modern audio-engine, DM10 has all DM1 features plus many new features: Bass & Lead synths, AudioUnit support, polyrhythmic tracks, new FX modules, and many more! And of course, DM10 is retro-compatible with DM1 song projects. As electronic musicians ourselves, we want to deliver the perfect mix between fun playability and powerful sonic capacities.     First thing I love about this is the included sounds and the ease of switching between kits Next I love that this has been brought into the AUV3 realm which is huge. Third, I love that it is regularly being updated and new features added. It feels like a passion project at this point. Love for a classic app. These automatically make it worth 5 stars The classic app was great. I love the dynamic of switching between patterns quickly. This app carries over some syncing (Link or midi drift) issues the original standalone had, but only in standalone. When it is hosted it syncs which is stellar! I’m excited about the addition of accessible parameters, midi, and pattern change when it is hosted. If the bug of dropping the first beat gets fixed, and I have access to parameters, this will be endless fun and most importantly INSPIRING. It’s already inspiring. If you’re into the iOS AUV3 plugin world, just get this 😊

    I like DM10’s interface and general approach and design. It doesn’t handle 6/8 and 12/8 correctly, as the step rate remains 4 per beat, regardless of the time signature. Should probably change to 3 or 6 steps per beat instead. Or just get rid of those sigs.

  • Super fun drum app

    Just got this a couple weeks ago and I’m hooked. It’s very easy to pop this open, select a kit and throw down a pattern and go, and make something that sounds interesting and creative. A very large collection of drum sounds are included and cover a wide range. The interface is simple, but powerful if you dig into it. I’ve got a lot of very fancy and powerful drum apps, but this one sits in its own space.

    This is a follow-on from my previous review so I hope it doesn’t overwrite it: I emailed the dev to report a couple of missing features to add and bugs that I hoped he would fix, and they were fixed in the very next release! With the addition of proper subdivision and pattern selection, this app is probably the best one out there right now. I highly recommend supporting such awesome developers.

    So far I love this app. It’s easy to use and understand. However, one issue I do have is I can’t seem to remap midi noes going out to hardware devices.

    The choke group doesn’t seem to choke yet, but I love it anyway. Please, do fix that though. Edit: OK, I see, the choke only works on the sequence, not on the pads played live. Hmmm.

    They finally updated this app. It is one of my favorites to use when I have to create click tracks or some stems on the go. Very useful to went on a live gig and you have to create some extra body on a set.

    I would like to just say I am very pleased with this version. I’ve been using DM 1 iPhone version and the iPad version and I found this one to be complete with some of the suggestions. I asked the creator although there might’ve been others that might’ve made some suggestions, but this is far Fabulous drum machine. I am now able to use instead of jump, jumping from one application to the other, this one seems to be very complete thank you finger lab for making this become a true drum machine app 😎👍

    Really enjoying this drum machine app! It’s really easy to use and has plenty of interesting drum kits. The synth & bass modules are a bit limited especially the synth. The drum machine make up for it.
